Stems vs. Multitracks: What's the Difference?

  • Stems (for Stem Mastering): Pre-mixed groups of related instruments or sounds (e.g., drums, bass, synths). They offer more control over the final sound compared to a single stereo mix, allowing for adjustments to individual elements without affecting the whole.

  • Multitracks (for Mixing): Individual, unprocessed audio tracks of each instrument or sound recorded during the production process. They provide the most flexibility for balancing levels, applying effects, and crafting the overall sonic landscape of the song.

Why Stem Mastering?

  • Precision Control: Fine-tune every element, even in complex mixes.

  • Creative Flexibility: Experiment and shape your sound, not just boost volume.

  • Competitive Edge: Achieve a professional sound that stands out.

  • Perfect for EDM: Ideal for layered and intricate electronic music production.

  • Expert Engineers: Our team delivers world-class, club-ready results.

Unleash your mix's full potential with the flexibility & control of Stem Mastering.
